A Project For Visually Impaired

Since a decade our Club has a tryst with the inmates of Smt.Kamla Mehta Dadar School for the Blind an institution for visually handicapped children. Each year Rotary Club provides cash awards to outstanding students of the Institute. Students who perform excellence in studies, sports, art and music.  A ‘special lunch’ is served for the students sponsored by a Rotarian on 14th November each year.

  • Students of Computer Training Unit at NASEOH who topped the computer exams during the year are given cash awards.
  • Scholarships are given to blind students of Kamla Mehta Dadar School for Blind for successful passing the SSC Board Examination.
  • The Annually Prizes are distributed to the students of Sophia College for women (sponsor M.K Jalan ) on the basis of their academic record, service to the college and leadership qualities. Also scholarships in the memory of Smt. Sumitra Devi Jatia (sponsor Arun Jatia) are given to two college teachers for their research work.
