Film motivates thought and action and assures a high degree of attention when the combination of act and speech, may have a strong impact on the minds of the viewers and can affect emotions, distracting ideas of the audience. Therefore, censorship by prior restraint is not only desirable but also necessary.

Prof. Nandini Sardesai a member of the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will tell us more on selections of film and analyzing the category for viewing.
