Mid Town Musings: April 2015

Dear Rotarian friends,

Of late we have had many speakers who came to educate us on the health issues. Mental health, the gastro system, etc. But, the one that was the most beautiful was Dr Rahul Joshi, who with his wife Trishna, thrilled us with music as therapy. This was a refreshing change and helped us realise that it’s easy to live with positivity rather than trying to repair our bodies and minds. The entire theme and thrust of his talk was to break the day into ragas and sing our way through life. It was an interactive meeting where we all joined in and sang with him. The songs were from old Hindi movies, which are still evergreen and to which everyone knew the words. Rtn Deepak Mehta deserves appreciation for bringing in interesting speakers one after the other.

As we are coming closer towards the ending of the rotary year, please mark the following dates which will be of significance.
