Mid Town Musings: November-December 2019

Dear Rotarians,

With the blink of an eye the year 2019 has come to an end. From July to December 2019, six months have passed and I am surely enjoying my tenure as the Club President. At the same time, it has been very satisfying and gratifying for me to receive the help from all club members, especially the kind advice and guidance from our past presidents.

The last six months have been very fruitful in terms of development with regard to projects in the fields of community resource, vocational service, international service and youth service. At the same time the fellowship evenings have been enjoyed by one and all.

I am looking forward now to our club’s projects such as our Project Hand Pump, Project E-learning and Project Plastic Surgery Camp. Not to forget our District Conference that will be held in February 2020. I would like to congratulate our incoming President Vicky Punjabi too for already formulating his board of members for the year 2020-21.

Let’s look forward now to the coming six months with the same vigour, enthusiasm and participation. I take this opportunity to thank each and every member of our club, our past club presidents and our new club members. I am also looking forward to inducting 15 more new members before the end of my tenure.

Our club newsletter is getting quite popular. I am getting calls not only from our members but also from the District officials praising the overall presentation of the Bulletin.

Credit goes to our Editor Rtn. Sunayana Vora and her team.

By the time this Bulletin reaches you all a decade will have passed away with 2020 being ushered in with the hope for a new and better tomorrow.

May peace prevail on Earth and mankind!

Thanking you in Rotary,
Pres. Rtn. Abuzar N. Zakir
