Eleven students in Germany on a Rotary Youth Exchange Program for 3 weeks organised by Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town and Rotary Club Nidda, Germany were given a fond farewell party on 31st May. The Fourth and final Club Assembly for the Rotary year 2017-18 was held on 23rd May 2018.

Mr. Rajan Jayakar, lawyer, historian, collector of art and artefacts, creator and curator of the Bombay High Court Museum, addressed our meeting on April 18, 2018. He spoke about ‘The History of Judiciary in Bombay’.

Speaker Rajan Jayakar will be talking on HISTORY OF JUDICIARY IN BOMBAY on Wednesday, 18th April 2018.

‘Project Good Health’ Multi-Speciality medical camp was organised in Cuttack, Odisha, on Mar 24 by Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town with Saifee Hospital Mumbai. Doctors of eight specialities travelled from Mumbai to Cuttack for this camp and attended to over 750 patients.

On Feb 17, 2018, the annual Jalna Plastic Surgery Camp was inaugurated. This camp is sponsored by Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town and Rotary Club of Jalna. A team of visiting German doctors conducted 100 plastic surgeries over the next 10 days for people from the most economical segment in the rural area around Jalna.

On Feb 24, 2018, DG Prafull Sharma inaugurated the Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town’s project for construction of about 300 toilets in villages around Panvel with SKS Chakshu Foundation. This is part of a Global Grant Project.
