Sir Geoffrey Boycott

Hi Rotarians,

I look forward to you and all attending our meeting on Wednesday, 14th December at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai in large numbers.

Time:

Lunch Service 12.30 to 1.30 p.m.

Meeting 1.30 to 2.30 p.m.

Our guest speaker of the day will be the cricket great – Sir Geoffrey Boycott (born 21 October 1940) a former Yorkshire and England cricketer. Boycott established himself as one of England’s most successful opening batsmen, he was known for his defensive, steady style. His stubborn character was matched by his stubborn style of playing – refusing to give his wicket away due to a silly shot.

He may not have been the most exciting player, but he scored valuable runs for both Yorkshire CC and England. Since his retirement he found success as a commentator for BBC.

Come along with your spouse and guests. We look forward to a great attendance at this meeting. Registration for the Guest and visiting Rotarians will be Rs 1,000/-.
