Days of Gold and Sepia

Yasmeen Premji will speak on her acclaimed debut novel “Days of Gold and Sepia”, the fascinating saga of a penniless orphan from Kutch who grows to become a cotton king in 19th century Bombay.

She was always interested in writing; her first short story was published when she was seventeen. She worked as Assistant Editor with the leading Indian design magazine Inside Outside for many years before moving with her husband Azim to Bangalore, which she now calls home.
